WATER CURTAIN

A water curtain system is a fire protection system that creates a physical barrier of falling water to prevent the spread of fire or smoke. It works by spraying water from a series of nozzles or pipes arranged to form a "curtain" of water droplets that fall from the ceiling or from a specially designed structure.

The water curtain system is designed to protect openings such as windows, doorways, and other types of openings in buildings, ships, and other structures. It is often used in areas where fire could spread easily, such as in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and data centres.

The water curtain system can be activated manually, but it is usually triggered automatically by a fire alarm or detection system. When activated, the water curtain system can help to control the spread of fire and smoke, allowing occupants to evacuate safely and giving firefighters time to extinguish the flames.

It is important to note that the water curtain system is not intended to extinguish the fire directly, but rather to limit the spread of fire and smoke.
